Da quanto abbiamo potuto osservare, morfologicamente questi esemplari, se si escludono le dimensioni assolutamente eccezionali, che variano da un minimo di 3-4 cm fino a 6-7 cm in distensione, sembrano appartenere alla forma tipica, conosciuta per moltissime altre località del Mediterraneo.

From what we have been able to observe, morphologically these specimens, if we exclude the absolutely exceptional dimensions, which vary from a minimum of 3-4 cm up to 6-7 cm in distension, seem to belong to the typical form, known for many other locations in the Mediterranean

Le prossime tre immagini ritraggono esemplari di Elysia viridis in cui il primo esemplare proviene dal Mar Piccolo Taranto, le altre due immagini da esemplari provenienti da Otranto (Lecce), 20 m. Anche in quest'ultimo caso constatiamo la scarsissima variabilità di questa ulteriore "forma" che sembra avere qualche affinità con i primi esemplari illustrati.

The next three images portray specimens of Elysia viridis in which the first specimen comes from the Mar Piccolo(Taranto,Italy) the other two images from specimens from Otranto (Lecce, Italy), 20 m depth. Also in the latter case we note the very scarce variability of this further "form" which seems to have some affinity with the first illustrated examples

Interessante questa foto per poter esaminare l'area pericardica e lo sviluppo dei vasi all'interno dei parapodi.

This photo is interesting in order to examine the pericardial area and the development of the vessels inside the parapods

Queste ultime tre immagini ritraggono due esemplari, il più grande dei due misurava oltre 2 cm, proveniente da S. Isidoro (Lecce).

These last three images portray two specimens, the larger of the two measuring over 2 cm, coming from S. Isidoro (Lecce)
