Porto Badisco (Lecce, Italy) 16m deep, Temp. 18° Grazie alle splendide immagine di Romualdo Rizzo, nostro amico e compagno di immersioni, riusciamo a segnalare la presenza di questa bellissima specie per il Salento. Specie molto simile a Caloria elegans (Alder & Hancock, 1845) dalla quale si può separare, oltre che geneticamente, per la presenta dei rinofori lamellati nella parte posteriore. Thanks to the splendid images of Romualdo Rizzo, our friend and diving partner, we are able to report the presence of this beautiful species for Salento. Species very similar to Caloria elegans (Alder & Hancock, 1845) from which it can be separated, as well as genetically, due to the presence of lamellated rhinophores in the posterior part. As detailed in the work of Giulia Furfaro et al, 2016 which we report in the bibliography
