Amphorina farrani (Alder & Hancock, 1844)

Specie decisamente meno rara, anche se mai comune, rispetto alla congenerica Eubranchus andra (Korshunova T, Malmberg K, Prkić J, Petani A, Fletcher K, Lundin K, Martynov A., 2020), recentemente descritta e separata da questa specie.

Abbiamo report da molte località salentine e comunque gli esemplari fotografati hanno sempre una decisamente modesta variabilità morfologica.

Definitely less rare, even if never common, compared to the congeneric Eubranchus andra (Korshunova T, Malmberg K, Prkić J, Petani A, Fletcher K, Lundin K, Martynov A., 2020), recently described and separated from this species.

We have reports from many locations in Salento and in any case the specimens photographed always have a decidedly modest morphological variability.
