Specie non comune, si può incontrare su roccie, su posidonia. Difficile da identificare quando di giorno è chiusa, come si vede nell'ultima foto. Al buio distende i propri tentacoli, fortemente urticanti, per catturare le prede di cui si ciba.

Uncommon species, it can be found on rocks, on posidonia. Difficult to identify when it is closed during the day, as seen in the last photo. In the dark it extends its strongly stinging tentacles to capture the preys it feeds on.
