Heterobranchia Burmeister, 1837 - Suborder Cladobranchia

Specie molto comune in tutto il Salento ma anche molto piccola, si può cercare di osservarla tra gli Idrozoi, ha un periodo di presenza molto ampio e non escluderemmo la possibilità di incontrarla in tutti i 12 mesi dell'anno.

Specie che praticamente può essere a vista indistinguibile dalla congenerica Flabellina gaditana (Cervera et al. 1987), come è stato dimostrato da Furfaro et al. 2021.

Very common species throughout the Salento but also very small, you can try to observe it among the Hydrozoans, it has a very wide period of presence and we would not exclude the possibility of meeting it in all 12 months of the year.
