I 3 esemplari fotografati sono di piccolissime dimensioni, 2-4mm, al momento vengono dubitativamente attributiti a questa specie in attesa di ulterioni indagini genetiche.

The 3 specimens photographed are very small, 2-4mm, at the moment they are doubtfully attributed to this species pending further genetic investigations

Non abbiamo inserito questa specie nella Check list degli Heterobranchi della penisola salentina in quanto ancora esistono dei dubbi che questa specie sia un sinonimo di Hermaea bifida (Montagu, 1816) e la definitiva soluzione sarà oggetto di un prossimo lavoro che abbiamo in programma. We have not included this species in the Check list of the Heterobranchs of the Salento peninsula as there are still doubts that this species is a synonym of Hermaea bifida (Montagu, 1816) and the definitive solution will be the subject of a future work that we are planning. (F. Vitale)

2 Esemplari rinvenuti a Gennaio del 2015, prof. 0,5m decisamenti simili a quelli rinvenuti sul versante del Mar Adriatico.

Otranto (Lecce, Italy), Ionious Sea

Il primo esemplare che riusciamo a vedere proveniente da questa località.

Tutti gli esemplari sono in studio per verificare che appartegano effettivamente alla specie cui in forma dubitativa abbiamo attribuito. (F. Vitale Ott 2020).
