S. Maria al Bagno (Lecce, Italy), 9 m depth Ionious Sea Questa specie è piuttosto comune lungo le coste del Salento. E' possibile incontrarla, con frequenza, associata al Porifero Axinella cannabina (Esper, 1894) su cui vi depone nastri ovigeri rossastri concentrici. E' possibile anche incontrarla in condizoni di semioscurita in grotte ed anfratti. L'abbiamo rinvenuta tra i 5m e 30 m di profondità. Dimensioni e pattern poco variabili e assolutamente non confondibile con altri Nudibranchi. This species is quite common along the coasts of Salento. It is possible to meet it frequently associated with the Porifero Axinella cannabina (Esper, 1894) on which it lays concentric reddish ovigerous ribbons. It is also possible to meet it in semi-dark conditions in caves and ravines. We found it between 5m and 30m deep. Slightly variable size and pattern and absolutely not to be confused with other Nudibranchs |
