Al momento questa specie appare molto localizzata nel Salento, identificata soltanto in un unico posto Dal Maggio 2015.

Appartiene al gruppo di specie di questo genere che vive simbioticamente ad Idroidi del Genere Aglaophenia, ed è proprio su questi Idroidi, di medio grandi dimensioni e di color giallo ocra, che va riecercata nella stagione primaverile.

At the moment this species appears very localized in Salento, identified only in one place since May 2015.
It belongs to the group of species of this genus which lives symbiotically with Hydroids of the genus Aglaophenia, and it is precisely on these Hydroids, of medium-large size and of yellow ocher color, that it is to be found in the spring season.

La dimensione degli esemplari osservati è di circa 5-7 mm ed è facile identificarli dopo aver individuato le tipiche ovature di color rosa sull'Idroide.

The size of the observed specimens is about 5-7 mm and it is easy to identify them after identifying the typical pink ovature on the Hydroid

Modesta la variabilita, magari più evidente negli esemplari più giovani, gli esemplari individuati sono praticamente sempre fermi sull'Idroide.
